for Sally
Author: ChristineI knew Sally only a few short months. In that time I grew to love her. How could you not?
She told me about one New Year’s Eve. Her mother was living with them and demanded a lot of her time. She and ‘her love’ were looking forward to spending the evening together. This was not to be, her mother became very needy and clingy that evening. Around midnight Sally snuck upstairs and spent a few minutes with ‘her love’.
Sally was never sorry she spent the time with her mother. her mother died shortly after that New Year’s Eve and then Sally and ‘her love’ had time together again.
Once more Sally and ‘her love’ will be together. Walking down a flowered path with golden sunshine surrounding them, hand in hand as they always have been.
Sally went to meet her God and ‘her love’ on Sat 5/29/2010. We will all miss her wonderful sense of humor and her unconditional love and hugs.
